Effective 7/1/25, The Source will provide immediate response services only for current and former foster youth up to the age of 26 and their caregivers in Sacramento County. We will continue providing immediate interventions via calls, text, and live chat and in-person support 24/7 365 days a year. Individuals who do not meet the new eligibility criteria are encouraged to contact their primary mental health provider, 988 or other community supports as needed.

- Help to solve problems and create a plan for the future.
Support for Caregivers of Foster Youth
- Free 24/7 support.
- Assistance in overcoming conflicts and challenges in your family.
- Intense, immediate and short-term help is available.
Support When & Where Needed
- Get support by Phone, Text or Live Chat whenever you need it most, and we will help you make a plan for wellness.
- Face-to-face help at home, in-school or other safe community locations.
- Get connected to other supports and programs in the community.
- Get support from Youth Peer Mentors and Family Partners with lived experiences similar to youth and caregivers.
